BUY. BUILD. HOLD.

Because Lorentzen Investments is a family office, we do not have any preconceived timeframe for an investment. Our expectation, in any investment, is to hold permanently. Our goal is to implement best-in-class safety and environmental procedures, invest in sustaining maintenance and profitable growth, and then harvest the cash flow on a financially prudent basis.

Lorentzen Investments does not seek to actively manage companies, so we will not invest in a transaction unless we are convinced that there is an experienced management team that is, or will be, in place with a solid business plan. Rather, our role is to be available for consultation and ongoing support, often through a board position. We seek to provide assistance with the planning and execution of expansions, occasional turnarounds, and financing for our portfolio companies. Additionally, we are available to provide our portfolio companies with additional capital in specific situations. In that regard, Lorentzen Investments expects that our portfolio companies will be professionally managed, have a formal budgeting process, and provide monthly financial reports with an annual audit.
